Title | Shabbos According To Rav Hirsch ZT"L |
Summary | The theme - Shabbos - the questions - how do we define Kedusha and Brocha in this context? This beautiful and clearly delivered Shiur was largely based on the unique writings of Rav Hirsch zt"l, who defines Brocha as permanence and Kedusha as having no resistance to doing good. Shabbos is mentioned twice in the Torah, once during Maaseh Beraishis and once by the Mon. Listen to how Rav Hirsch defines and develops the concept of Parnassah and Hishtadlus through the Parsha of the Mon - and how Shabbos redefines our "giving over" our full Bitachon to Hashem. Also discussed, was the fact that in the Torah, there is no such thing as "things" and "having" - but rather - values of "becoming something". |
