Title Shabbos Tisha B'Av
Summary Today, we were treated to an array of Halachos in connection with Tisha B'Av falling on Shabbos, as it does this year. When may I bathe on Erev Shabbos, before Chatzos or after Chatzos? The subject of bathing in general during the 9 days is a topic of fierce debate amongst the Poskim, with the Aruch Hashulchan seeming to be the most stringent opinion. Some have the Minhag not to say Pirkei Avos this Shabbos. Whilst it is not considered Hachonoh to eat Seuda Shlishis, one should not explicitly state that one is eating in order to have strength to fast. One should do "Borei Meorei Ho'aish" on Motzei Shabbos. This year, seeing as Tisha B'Av is a Nidcheh, one may have a haircut and/or shave on Sunday night, but meat, wine and music must all wait until the next morning. Various other Halachos were also discussed, both interesting and highly relevant.
